Terms of Sales

The present document (Terms and Conditions of Sale) defines the conditions applicable to sales concluded between, on the one hand, persons wishing to make a purchase via FURNITURE INDUSTRY's website (www.furnitureindustry.eu), hereinafter referred to as "the customer", and, on the other hand, the company FURNITURE INDUSTRY, hereinafter referred to as "FURNITURE INDUSTRY. These terms and conditions apply to all buyers. The language of communication between distributors, suppliers and customers will always be, by order, French.

Price

The price is payable in full and in one payment.

All product prices are indicated in euros (excluding VAT), excluding shipping, preparation and packaging costs. FURNITURE INDUSTRY reserves the right to modify its prices at any time without notice. The products will be invoiced on the basis of the prices in effect at the time of order registration. The products remain the property of FURNITURE INDUSTRY until full payment is received by FURNITURE INDUSTRY.

Order

FURNITURE INDUSTRY reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute regarding the payment of a previous order or who presents any form of risk in its eyes. FURNITURE INDUSTRY also reserves the right to refuse any order without justification.

The customer can order on the internet via the website www.furnitureindustry.eu or by e-mail at via the contact form.

Any order placed through the www.furnitureindustry.eu website by email implies acceptance of the prices and description of the products available for sale. FURNITURE INDUSTRY undertakes to honor orders received on the website only within the limits of available product stocks. If one or more products ordered are not available, FURNITURE INDUSTRY will inform the customer as soon as possible. The customer's order may then be cancelled by the latter within 48 hours from the time of the order. In the event that the customer maintains his order, FURNITURE INDUSTRY will ship the order without the missing products, and the difference in amount on the missing products will be valid as a credit note.

Pictures, descriptions

All photographs are non-contractual, simply because FURNITURE INDUSTRY cannot ensure the differences in color due to the configuration of computers or internet access software, or the brightness during the photographs, number of strands, etc.. FURNITURE INDUSTRY reserves the right to technically modify certain products without notice. Also, the descriptions can be changed without notice.

Shipping and Delivery

See Shipping and Returns. Delivery by FURNITURE INDUSTRY and its carriers. Please contact us for areas considered difficult to access (mountains, steep paths, pedestrian areas, countries not properly served, etc.).

For deliveries outside normal areas, we work with specialized companies and you will find the corresponding transport packages by entering your country in the delivery settings. Nevertheless, we invite you to contact us before placing any order so that we can guarantee you the rates, deadlines and feasibility with regard to standards and technology, etc.

Payment 

The payment of the purchases is carried out with the choice of the customer:

• by credit card on the internet (internet payment solution)
• by PayPal
• by bank transfer

Payment validation

The payment is validated upon receipt of the additional information requested in case of payment by credit card requiring additional checks (See paragraph 5 Fight against credit card fraud).

FURNITURE INDUSTRY uses all means to ensure the confidentiality and security of data transmitted on the web and on the www.furnitureindustry.eu website thanks to Paypal, Sumup, etc., depending on your choice. As such, the website uses Paypal as a means of transaction. FURNITURE INDUSTRY takes no responsibility for these conditions and transactions as they are undertaken by the companies holding these rights and duties. We advise you to consult the Paypal website for any question

Intellectual Property

All texts, comments, works, illustrations and images reproduced on FURNITURE INDUSTRY are reserved under copyright law as well as under intellectual property law and for the entire world. In this respect and in accordance with the provisions of the Intellectual Property Code, only private use is authorized, subject to different, even more restrictive provisions of the Intellectual Property Code. Any total or partial reproduction of the FURNITURE INDUSTRY website is strictly forbidden without prior agreement.

Responsibility

FURNITURE INDUSTRY has only a best effort obligation for all stages of access to the site, the ordering process, delivery, customer service or subsequent services. FURNITURE INDUSTRY shall not be held liable for any inconvenience or damage inherent to the use of the Internet network, in particular a break in service, an external intrusion or the presence of computer viruses, or for any event qualified as force majeure, in accordance with case law.
 

Warranty

No warranty is applicable to the products sold by FURNITURE INDUSTRY. The products, when shipped, are sound, of good quality and in good condition. All other products sold by FURNITURE INDUSTRY have been approved by FURNITURE INDUSTRY, therefore, they are not subject to a warranty as they have been tested and approved.

However, the manufacturer warranties remain of course, but are guaranteed by the respective manufacturers and not by FURNITURE INDUSTRY which will not take care of the after sales service of your products.

Withdrawal periods 

FURNITURE INDUSTRY reserves the right to charge order management, preparation and/or delivery fees following a cancellation within fourteen days of the order.

Only FURNITURE INDUSTRY is qualified to assess the various costs related to the order and these costs cannot be questioned.

All perishable, deteriorable, custom-made or made-to-measure products sold by FURNITURE INDUSTRY cannot be subject to a cancellation period as they are perishable products: "deteriorable or rapidly perishable goods".

Only products in physical stock in our warehouses can be returned. Any product put in manufacture will not be returnable.

Identical reasoning for products made to measure and out of the standards (colors on choice of the customer, etc..). Generally speaking, all furniture products are manufactured only to order (no stock), which implies a custom manufacturing according to the needs of the customer(s), implying then the impossibility of return of this type of goods.

Protection of personal data

FURNITURE INDUSTRY reserves the right to collect data on the customer, in particular through the use of cookies in accordance with the legislation in force. The user may expressly object to the disclosure of his/her personal data. To do so, he/she simply needs to indicate this by writing to FURNITURE INDUSTRY by email. In accordance with the law of January 6, 1978, the user has the right to access and rectify data concerning him/her.
We use the services of third-party advertising companies that display advertisements when you visit our site. These companies may use information (not including your name, address, telephone number, or e-mail address) about your visits to this and other sites in order to provide you with advertisements about products and services that are relevant to your interests.

Use of cookies
FURNITURE INDUSTRY uses cookies to recognize the customer when he/she logs on to the www.furnitureindustry.eu website. The customer may disable the use of these cookies at any time by selecting the appropriate settings in his/her browser. This is the sole responsibility of the customer.

Deadlines

The deadlines displayed on the FURNITURE INDUSTRY website are the deadlines generally respected. We talk more often about shipping times because the delivery time depends on the carrier and is uncontrollable by FURNITURE INDUSTRY.

If the delivery time is exceeded, FURNITURE INDUSTRY is not liable for any compensation or cancellation of the order.

On the other hand, an item that is out of stock, in excess of the indicated delivery time, or permanently unavailable, even though it can be ordered, cannot commit FURNITURE INDUSTRY to honor either the delivery time or the supply. Liabilities arising from such unavailability (temporary or definitive) are not reproachable and are not under the responsibility/charge of FURNITURE INDUSTRY. Any event, related or not, to this unavailability (temporary or definitive) is then not taken in charge by FURNITURE INDUSTRY.

However, FURNITURE INDUSTRY reserves the right to cancel an order without justification.

A cell phone number is imperative when placing the order in order to allow the carrier to easily reach the customer. If possible, transmit a landline number and a mobile number.

If the carrier is unable to reach the customer for the delivery of the order, that the customer does not respond to a notice of passage, that it postpones the delivery or that the coordinates are erroneous, a notice of default of 30 € HT will be charged. If an order must be stored at one of our carriers, the costs incurred will also be passed on to you, according to the carrier's current rate.

Any representation in case of absence on the day of delivery agreed not notified by the customer, or any delivery made impossible following an erroneous declaration of the customer will be charged 200 €.
